Hear me out.
We don’t need a new theory. We need a replacement for theory, and the theory-practice dichotomy, entirely. A libertarian (or anarchist) dialectic is the answer to this. The answer that unifies the collective anarchist/libertarian milieu and provides a dynamic and workable solution for any situation by means of having no proscriptions for any situation, and functioning as a logical tool that is easy to learn and quick to apply.
We look to the theories we most respect to inform our praxis. But they fail when the real world fails to respond in accord with the theoretical expectation. This forces us into a dialectic, whether we will it or not. Any resistance toward entering the dialectic — which generally involves using praxis to enforce theory, thus results in an authoritarianism. We must work the dialectic if we are to remain true to the principles of both positive and negative liberty.
Therefore I do not propose a new theory. I propose a tool. I propose Anarchism as a dialectic. This isn’t a philosophical tool that can be used to create a new theory, mind you. This is a tool meant for everyone to learn and apply. I give it freely here, and I hope you will pass it along freely.
As long as we are willing to cooperate, together — as has always been the nature of humanity — this should be an effective means of leveling the playing field to preserve both personal liberties and collective best interest. It is anarchic in the truest sense, in that it recognizes no authority whatsoever — not even that of a theory — to dictate or proscribe what is “right and good” in any situation; rather it aims to be a tool to discover what is right and good for each and every situation, in its full subjective context.
Bear with me — it may take a few weeks to write all of this out…
